All Packed and Ready for Take-off

So, thats me ready for tonight. Getting picked up by my brother at 11pm, until then theres NOTHING to do. Im ultra bored. Just earlier I actually hoovered my bedroom? Wtf? Until my brother does pick me up, my nerves and excitement levels will build ... until they annoy everyone in the long midnight car journey to Glasgow. It has to be said im NOT looking forward to that ...not at the slightest :/ Blog in a bit .. ttfn

Im not too sure what I want in life. I mean, of course a lovely husband and 3/4 children with a sport car (or two) would be awesome. Everyone wants to be something big in and to stand out. I do dream about this.. who doesnt want to be rich, popular and famous?

I get £60 a fortnight from my parents to buy stuff like clothes, hair products, days out with the boyfriend ... you know? But I always seem to be penniless about 3 days after getting the money. I know im a shopaholic (i know this isnt good but im getting better at NOT spending my time looking through charity shops for shit that can fill my shelves) but it still doesnt explain why i never have any surplus cash.

I suppose I have to surrender into the thought of, no matter what enviroment im in, no matter if i earn £10000000000000000 (is that even an amount?) im always, going to be penniless :(

Tomorrow I leave grey old Aberdeen and travel down to Glasgow. Thereforth I fly with RyanAir (fml) to Gran Canaria where Im spending a week in the Terranazera Suites. Im taking 50 euros ..... please let me survive :)

WOW some people . . .

Some poeple really arent worth the hastle. Im not sure if I told you guys that im gay . . . anyway its not the point - well, it IS the point but you know what i mean lol. I asked a guy (james) out about 3 months ago and he text me back saying no. I was totally cool with this cos ive now got my eyes firmly set on someone else (makes me sound like a man whore - but im not, honest) and James has aasked me out tonight???!!! So obviously i said no back cos 1) he's not my type and 2) he rejected me

AHHHH drives me nutts.
But im over it and im moving on  . . . . . . . . oh you might hav enoticed that i dont post much if im not abroad lol so have an amazing christmas and see you in the new year of 2012 - im so so so so so (so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so) excited.

I need idea for new year resolutions . . . . comment please??

well i never have see it quite this snowy in Nvember.  Can it possibly get any worst?
Better get the essencials in.  Some market in Aberdeen today to i got some gingerbread coffee and malt whiskey coffee for my dad and step mum!
Freezing the heck out of my feet and legs, watching the Graham Norton Show on channel one. 

I listened to all the old song from Pennies from Heaven on my ipod whilst on the bus for 1hour going 15miles into town and 1/2 an hour, 15mile out of town.  Great, got my scarf and an orange bucket for panto on Sunday.  Really looking forward to it!

Oh by the way, yesterday whilst eating my rock salted pretzels on SriLankan airlines flying over Austria there's this place called LINZ, thought my follower might enjoy that fact!!

Winilla ? Winilla?

In a lovely hotel, we have our Saturday into Sunday stay, and at lunch we walk along to the restaurant, we task a seat and are asked by a (not so good at speaking English) man what drink we'd like.  Mother wants a fizzy orange (not problem) and i ask for a milkshake and in his unweary speaking the man starts to list strawberry, pineapple, berrie, wanilla.
I really genuinely think whats winilla, is that a fruit.

"Winilla, winilla?" 

The man says yes and i order that, coming to the table was a vanilla milkshake.  It then occurs to me that the Sri Lankan people have a funny way of saying stuff, how embarrassing !! - oops

Gems Galoure

On Friday 16th July, we set off at 5am to welegama so i could present a lectern to the sponsor school the Ellon supports, with nothing prepare my speech was limited - "i hope you can understand me (half of them at this point with blank faces), I'm Matthew from Ellon Academy, and i present (my mind goes blank) and i say nothing (pause, very long one.  Mum snaps some pics) these !!!!!! Then we were shown the 'new' toilets, and the it was explained we (the school in Scotland) designed them .... i took some snaps  for the school.

We travelled about 1hour to the Berulage Gems & Jewellery Moonstone Mine, were shown around the mine, and then put under serious pressure of buying a few gems, El caved in and bought a moonstone ring and a white Sapphire (sri lankan diamond) i bought a green emerald ring.
